DUSTBOWL was the first true release from Cryptic Shift, featuring a refreshed lineup with Xander on vocals and new guitarist Henry Parker. Pressed independently on CDR with slip-wallet and later available on the split release with Bestial Invasion.

Opting for a more thrash metal direction, 'Dustbowl' takes pathways through echoes of Atheist, Nuclear Assault, Death Angel and Revocation to steer the band through the Mad Max & Motorstorm inspired world of Dustbowl and closer to the progressively sci-fi and technical futures!
